Copycat Cinnabon Hawaiian Rolls — Air Fryer Copycat Recipe

Copycat Cinnabon Hawaiian Rolls recreate that gooey, cinnamon-sugar delight using Hawaiian slider rolls and a cream cheese filling — finished in the air fryer for fast, indulgent treats that taste like the bakery favorite.

Prep Time: 15 mins • Cook Time: 10 mins • Total Time: 25 mins • Servings: 12

Ingredients

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup confectioners’ sugar
  • 2 tbsp softened butter (for filling)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • 1/8 tsp salt
  • 12 Hawaiian slider rolls
  • 3/4 cup white sugar
  • 1 tbsp ground cinnamon
  • 6 tbsp melted butter (for brushing)

Directions

  1. Make cream cheese filling: Beat cream cheese, confectioners’ sugar, 2 tbsp butter, vanilla, lemon juice and salt until smooth. Transfer to piping or resealable bag.
  2. Fill rolls: Cut a small slit in the side of each roll; create a pocket with a spoon handle. Pipe cream cheese mixture into each roll (don’t overfill).
  3. Prep & air fry: Brush rolls lightly with melted butter. Preheat air fryer to 400°F. Stir together sugar + cinnamon. Air fry in batches (do not crowd) 3 minutes until golden and toasted. Immediately toss or brush with butter then coat in cinnamon sugar. Serve warm.

Cook’s Note

If you don’t have an air fryer, bake at 375°F for 6–8 minutes on a sheet pan. For extra decadence, drizzle a simple cream cheese glaze over warm rolls.
